Gary Ernest Smith has spent a lifetime living and working in the rural west which has impelled him to express the soul and inspiration of the land and its people through his art. In his paintings for this year’s show, “High Horizons”, Gary captures a special moment in time, or a mood, or a unique energy in the land he so loves and shares it through his art. This unequaled collection is a visual manifesto of Gary’s emotions and ideas about the ever-changing agricultural and rural landscape.

Lorusso's paintings have gained popularity by their ability to connect with the viewer, resonating in a way that is intimate and personal. The mood and emotion conveyed in his paintings evoke a deep sense of beauty found in the quiet times of daily living. His people are mysterious, lonely, romantic and yet familiar, placed in settings in which we often see ourselves. We invite you to visit the world of Joseph Lorusso.
